走马观花逛五台---大吉祥显通寺
<p><b> <font size="4">显通寺是五台首刹，建于东汉永平十一年，（公元六十八年）是是五台山开山第一座寺院。</font></b><b></b></p>
<p><font size="4"><b> 今显通寺是在明代前期的名称。寺内存碑记载：“蒙成祖颁赐佛曲名经圣寺，见五百阿罗汉腾空跃舞，遂敕建大吉祥显通寺”。另据《清凉山志》记载，明永乐十八年，皇帝朱棣把佛经中所记载的诸佛、菩萨、神僧名号编成《歌曲名经》，送往五台山，命僧咏颂。使者一至显通寺，郎有祥光焕发，五色绚烂，上烛霄汉，衣被山谷，弥满流动，朗耀日星，久而不散。已而复有文殊菩萨乘狮子，隐隐出云际，微露形迹。</b><b></b></font></p>
<p><font size="4"><b>及云收雾敛，乃见狮子，扬髯吐舌，奋臂振足，腾跃鼓舞，左顾右盼，于山驻立。明日，复有罗汉，由华严岭而来，或五百或三百，或一二百，先后踵接，联翩翱翔。其间有顶经包者，有拄锡者，有裸体者，有袒肩者，有跣足者，有跛</b><b>x x </b><b>而佝偻者，众至三千余，隐现出没，变化非常。于是四方来游五台者，莫不顶礼赞歌，以为千载之希遇。于是，使者具奏圣上，将寺名改成大吉祥显通寺。梵文文殊师利意译为妙吉祥。大吉祥显通寺的实意</b></font><font size="4"><b>应该为文殊师利显示神通的地方。</b><b></b></font></p>
<p><b><font size="4"> 庙里文殊殿内供着五台山五个台顶的五方文殊菩萨，以便朝山拜佛的人即便登不到五座台顶（大朝台）、黛螺顶（小朝台），也可在此拜到五方文殊，所以也叫“方便朝台”。</font></b></p>
