[古村落]房山-水头村
<p><font face="Verdana"> 水头村始建于元代,位于房山西南大石窝镇北部山区，是南泉水河发源地的源头，千年古刹云居寺坐落于该村境内，村域山青水美、文化底蕴厚重，是集观光、休闲、民俗于一体的市级民俗旅游村。2007年度，水头村获北京市首都文明村和市房山区“魅力新农村”荣誉称号。</font></p><p><font face="Verdana"> </font></p>
<p><font face="Verdana">水头村境内的云居寺是首批国家重点文物保护单位，因珍藏着举世闻名的房山石经和众多文物古迹而被誉为“北京的敦煌”。云居寺始建于隋大业年间，全称“西域云居掸林”。寺庙原规模宏大，坐西朝东，依山而建，有五层院落，六进殿宇。中路有天王殿、毗卢殿、大雄宝殿、药师殿、弥陀殿、大悲殿等，两旁均有配殿。南北两路设有客舍、行宫，两侧各有砖塔一座自隋唐以来，这里一直是佛教圣地，鼎盛时寺院内有僧数百。这座历史悠久的庙宇，在抗战期间毁于日本侵略军之手，只有北端辽代砖塔幸存下来。解放后逐步恢复</font></p>

face="Verdana">目前水头村全村农户186户，农业人口490口人，农村劳动力人数380人，土地面积1.58万亩。水头村以新农村建设为契机，对村庄环境逐步进行了由“外”到“内”的大面积整治。“外”：重点突出了村域入口景观与标志，综合治理了绕村河道和美化了环村道路；“内”：重点营造秀美的街巷环境，装点院落与民宅，使得村庄在保留和强化原有传统的古朴韵味的基础上增添了新的魅力。<br/></font></p><br/> <p>民国老照片中美丽的水源头，香树庵，已经基本无存，整个村略显现代，和其他村区别不大。</p>

<p>很容易让人忘记这里曾经悠久的历史。。。。。</p>
