莫愁餐厅以前经常光顾，挺实惠的，2.5一碗拉面，加上若干串儿，哥儿几个打完台球吃拉面。西内大街以北一片都是西城开发用地，新华书店近年也会拆迁。

西内大街路北靠西边许多门面房已被拆除,此次拍摄色是马相胡同口东面残留的一些旧门面房,实际已经是表皮,后面基本已经盖起了高楼,有的只是一面墙,透过两个窗口可以看到后面,当年赫赫有名的照明器材厂也早已停业,还剩下207号\205号等几个门牌,205号好象还住着居民,那三家小门脸一直营业,每天晚上灯火通明,,记得02年之前那家花店就一直营业,总说拆,抗到现在了,隔过一条胡同,名字没记住,哪天去查查,又是很长一段遮挡板,西内113号80年代时就是一家进出口电子公司,可牛了,现在好象是是开发公司办公场所,这家莫愁餐厅是回民餐厅,也已经有年头了,直至今日还在开业,而且总是客满,西内87号原是新街口医院的牙科门诊部,门诊部承包人姓谢,英年早逝,其妻继续经营,早已停业等待拆除.继续往东没有来及拍呢.
